Differences vs. the "ordinary" POP Trigger
- The POP Trigger needs to be connected to a node defining the steady-state period of the circuit, i.e. a switching node
- The PFC POP Trigger requires more connections
- Default POP Trigger parameter values will usually work; if not, often only a small adjustment is necessary
- The PFC POP Trigger needs to configured carefully for each circuit and has more parameters to set
- With the POP Trigger it's often sufficient to simply run a POP analysis right away
- With the PFC POP Trigger, we always need to run a transient analysis first
